Charlie Chan #8 Plus Strip Reprints (Charlton/Pacific Comics Club, 1955-ca. late '70s). Included in this two-item lot is a copy of Charlie Chan #8 (GD); plus a copy of Vol. 3 from a promotional softcover book series reprinting selections from the Charlie Chan comic strip by Earl Derr Biggers and Alfred Andriola from the I.R.S. Collection (FN), established by and later seized from a government employee who fed his comics habit by issuing himself fraudulent tax return checks. Approximate value for group = $50.
