Description

Buz Sawyer #1 Mile High pedigree (Standard, 1948) CGC NM+ 9.6 White pages. Roy Crane created the character Buz Sawyer in 1943 as a newspaper strip, about 10 years after his more famous creation, Captain Easy. "Buz Sawyer" became "Buz Sawyer's Pal, Roscoe Sweeney" and was a staple of the funny pages of newspapers for over 40 years. As much as we like Buz and Roscoe, the real story here is the unbelievable condition of this copy. But then again, it is the Mile High copy. NM+ 9.6 seems conservative! Overstreet 2003 NM 9.4 value = $225.
