    Description

Adventure Comics #48 (DC, 1940) CGC VF 8.0 Off-white pages. Hourman swings into action on the cover of this Golden Age key. It is the very first appearance of Hourman, who would continue on to be an important character throughout the Golden Age of DC. Two comic book legends, Bernard Baily and Bob Kane, did artwork for this issue. Here is a high-grade copy of this extremely rare book. This is surely one of the very best existing copies, and is highly sought after by collectors in any grade. The only defects that this book has are of the very minor variety. The spine is very solid, and the cover is bright, and not faded at all. The fantastic page quality makes it even more desirable. Sandman by Gardner Fox and Ogden Whitney, and the Federal Men by Jerry Siegel also make appearances. Overstreet 2002 VF 8.0 value = $14,500.
