Description
Disneyland - "Starlite" Date Nite Metal Sign (Walt Disney, c. 1990s - 2000s). This is a gorgeous metal sign used during a Disneyland "starlite" event. The "Starlite" events began in 1965, with custom printed Starlite ticket books intended for late night enjoyments of Disneyland for couples. The logo, as shown here, featured the early style Sleeping Beauty Castle graphic with a crescent moon behind it. The calm blues and yellows of the sign, paired with the Castle logo, make this a unique and stylish artifact of Disney Parks history. The sign was likely used later, and referenced the original logo from the earliest years of the Starlite events of the mid 1960s. It measures approximately 18.5" x 14" and is in Good overall condition with some surface and edge wear throughout from use.Auction Info
