USA Comics #17 Big Apple Pedigree (Timely, 1945) CGC VF/NM 9.0 White pages. Alex Schomburg created a wonderfully strange "Wheel of Death" cover for this issue featuring Captain America rescuing Bucky from bondage, avoiding gunfire, and spearing hooded cultists. The issue contains Destroyer and Whizzer stories. Released in Fall 1945, this was the final issue of this patriotic wartime title. Overstreet 2023 VF/NM 9.0 value = $2,967; NM- 9.2 value = $4,200.
