Captain America Comics #33 (Timely, 1943) CGC VG 4.0 Cream to off-white pages. The Nazi war cover by Alex Schomburg makes reference to the Brenner Pass, a mountain pass in the alps where Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini met to celebrate their "Pact of Steel" on March 18th, 1940. The Pass was part of the rail lines that were used by fleeing Nazis after the German surrender in 1945. Al Avison and Syd Shores art. Human Torch backup story. CGC notes, "Small piece re-attached to cover with tape." Overstreet 2021 VG 4.0 value = $846. CGC census 1/22: 4 in 4.0, 30 higher.
