    Description

Giant-Size X-Men #1 (Marvel, 1975) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white pages. The Bronze Age of comics begins with this fantastic issue! This is generally recognized as the most important comic to be printed during the last three decades. It also happens to be a book constructed in such a way that only a tiny percentage of the print run had any kind of chance to survive in high-grade condition, which makes finding a Near Mint copy always a treat. Of course, this is the debut of the "new" X-Men: Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus and Thunderbird all get their start here. Artist Dave Cockrum became a star in his own right with his work here, which was carried over to the revived X-Men title. Overstreet 2003 NM 9.4 value = $1,150.
