    Description

Conan the Barbarian #1 (Marvel, 1970) CGC NM 9.4 White pages. Roy Thomas and Barry Smith caused quite a stir with this barbaric first issue, which quickly became a collector's item. Not only did the issue offer the first Marvel appearance of the Robert E. Howard character, King Kull also made his Marvel debut. Considering it dates back to "just" the Bronze Age of comics, relatively few issues have been certified with higher grades by CGC to date, less than 6% of the over 700 that have been certified. Overstreet 2004 NM- 9.2 value = $300. CGC census 1/05: 96 in 9.4, 43 higher. From the Northern Lights Collection.

View the certification for CGC Certification ID 0627916012 and purchase grader's notes if available.
