Star Wars #1 35¢ Variant (Marvel, 1977) CGC VF/NM 9.0 White pages. This is the extremely rare 35¢ variant edition, which was test marketed in a small, select area of the US, and currently is the #1 book on Overstreet's list of Top 10 Bronze Age Comics. It's Part 1 of the Star Wars movie adaption. Howard Chaykin provided the cover and art for the book. Overstreet notes, "limited distribution -- 1500 copies?" and "Prices vary widely on this book." This is only the sixth copy that we have ever offered and it is tied for the second highest grade that we have ever seen. The last 9.0 copy that we sold went for close to $8,000!
