    Miscellaneous Comic-Related Magazines Group (Various, 1969-76) Condition: Average FN/VF. This group of oddball yet fascinating magazines includes the following items: Charlton Portfolio #nn (a complete Blue Beetle story by Steve Ditko, plus pinups by almost every early-70s Charlton artist, including Dick Giordano, Pete Morisi, Pat Boyette, Jim Aparo, and even Dave Cockrum and John Byrne, plus a partial Charlton checklist); Heroes Inc. Presents Cannon #2 (black and white, Wally Wood cover, Wood and Ditko art, plus an early Byrne pinup, Overstreet value $14); Wallace Wood's Cannon #2 (two copies of a magazine-size comic, self-published by Wood, reprinting The Overseas Weekly strips; the content is of the "mature readers" variety), and Eye Magazine February 1969 issue (a miniature Spider-Man giveaway comic is attached, the magazine includes an article on the Marvel phenomenon and one on underground presses (not comics specifically, though a Robert Crumb illustration is used); the mini-comic is in FR condition, Overstreet lists a GD value of $10 for the mini-comic). Items are not listed in Overstreet except as noted above.
