Funny Aminals #1 Don Donahue File Copy (Apex Novelties, 1972) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white to white pages. This is the much tougher color variation cover. Extra color was accidentally added to one run of first prints, causing the green letters in the cover to be brown and the blue letters turned purple. This book is also noteworthy because it has the first appearance of the Pulitzer Prize winning strip Maus by Art Spiegelman. Add a great cover by Crumb and this book is a must own! From the collection of Apex owner Don Donahue
