    Description

Artistic Comics #nn Haight-Ashbury pedigree (Golden Gate, 1973) CGC NM 9.4 White pages. This thick collection of art from Robert Crumb's sketchbooks was originally published by his friend and Cheap Suit Serenaders bandmate Terry Zwigoff, who would go on to produce Crumb, the award-winning documentary film about the artist. This first-printing comic began the trend of publishing Crumb's sketchbook art. This copy is as nice as they come, too! Fogel's 2015 Underground Price & Grading Guide NM- 9.2 value = $20. CGC census 8/15: 5 in 9.4, 4 higher. From the Howard Greber Collection.
