Publisher's full red cloth (Currey B binding), front and spine lettered in gilt, blind-stamped decorative border at boards; all edges trimmed. Edge and joint wear to binding; bumping; spine ends pushed; moderate loss to lettering at spine, with remaining gilt tarnished; crease running vertical length of rear board; cloth fairly rubbed and soiled. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; sight darkening and rubbing to edges; some small specks of foxing to fore-edges. Uneven toning and slight foxing to endpapers and first few leaves of text block; a few pages roughly opened at fore-edges. Very good. Currey, p. 243.
