    Stephen King. 'Salem's Lot. Garden City: Doubleday & Company, 1975. First edition. Inscribed: "For David / Best, / Stephen King." Octavo. [12], 439, [5, blank] pages. Publisher's one-quarter black cloth over red paper-covered boards, spine lettered in gilt; fore-edge untrimmed, others trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Slight skew to spine; spine ends a touch pushed and worn, with just a bit of fraying at joint ends, gilding just a bit rubbed, couple of small spots of soiling at backstrip; some staining to boards; mild shelf wear along bottom edges; lower corners tapped, with light wear at all four. Some general scuffing and mild discoloration to edges of text block; bit of very faint soilng and rubbing to top and bottom corners, respectively; text block tilted a tiny amount in binding. Slight bubbling to edges of endpapers, with some spot-soiling at rear. A touch of wear at ends of jacket spine panel, resulting in a tiny nick or two at bottom and some slight fraying at top, with evidence of black color-correction visible at verso; minimal color loss along joints; expected yellowing and mild rubbing to rear panel; soft creasing at flap folds; price-clipped.
