    Description

Robert A. Heinlein Tunnel in the Sky First Edition (Charles Scribner's Sons, 1955). This is the first edition of the author s early novel about an overpopulated future Earth where faster-than-light gates to other planets are allowing extra-solar colonization and requiring a new breed of intrepid and resourceful pioneer. The first edition is bound in tan cloth, pictorially stamped on both the spine and front cover in brown, with decorative endpapers featuring a dark blue and white starscape. The spine has slightly faded and the book is Very Good. The dust jacket is price-clipped and has wear at the folds and extremities (Very Good+).
