[10], 212, [2, blank] pages. Full-page illustrations by Thomas W. Voter. Publisher's full black cloth binding, spine lettered in green, green-stamped rocket and planet ornament on front; fore-edge untrimmed, others trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine ends a bit worn, top just starting to fray; minimal rubbig to boards; fairly mild shelf wear at bottom edges. Mild age yellowing to edges of text block and endpapers; a handful of spots of faint, marginal thumbsoiling scattered throughout; previous owner's name stamp at rear free endpaper. Spine panel of jacket just a touch sunned; creasing, now a bit brittle and just starting split, at joints; wear along top edge resulting in some small chips and short tears, particulary at head of spine and flap folds; some light rubbing and abrasions to exposed panels; flap folds creased; flaps clipped with some faint tanning and a bit of rumpling along top edges.
