Publisher's full red cloth, front and spine lettered in black, front with blind-ruled border; all edges trimmed; original illustrated jacket. Mild shelf wear to binding; spine ends pushed, cloth worn; small handful of soiling spots to boards. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; some light rubbing to edges with small stain at bottom of fore-edge. Occasional soiling and spot-staining scattered throughout, with discoloration from tape at pastedowns. Slight wear and rumpling at edges of jacket; general light toning; rubbing and fairly mild soiling to exposed panels; some soft creases at joints, flap folds and edges. Three fairly small tape and brown paper repairs at verso. About near fine. Currey, p. 128. From the Glynn and Suzanne Crain Collection.

Publisher's full yellow cloth, front and spine stamped in brown; all edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Minor shelf wear at extremities of binding; spine ends pushed and just about to start fraying; one corner slightly bumped; a bit of soiling and rubbing to boards. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; top edge a bit dust-soiled; a bit of scattered dark speckling, most pronounced at fore-edge. Some speckling at page edges throughout. Fairly mild edge wear to jacket, with fraying starting at spine and flap fold ends; moderate amount of rubbing and soiling to exposed panels of jacket; some wear and soft creasing along joints and flap folds.
