Inscribed to the collector, "Glynn! / This first / edition! / Ray Bradbury / Nov. 1st / 2001." Octavo. [8], 313, [1] pages. Publisher's full black cloth, spine lettered in gilt; all edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Mild shelf wear at extremities of binding; very light rubbing to boards; corners slightly bumped. Normal age toning to edges of text block. Mild uneven discoloration to endpapers. Minimal edge wear to jacket, most pronounced at spine and flap fold ends; bit of light wear along flap folds; mild rubbing to exposed panels. Small spot or two of soiling with some faint rubbing at verso. A very nearly fine copy of Bradbury's first published book. Currey, p. 55. From the Glynn and Suzanne Crain Collection.
