Description
Pierre Boulle Monkey Planet (Planet of the Apes) First Edition (Secker and Warburg, 1964). A first edition, first printing published by Secker and Warburg in 1964, the basis for the Planet of the Apes book and film series. Cased in dark green cloth, stamped with silver on the spine panel. Original dust jacket with color breaks at both spine edges, and rubbing and handling wear to the top and bottom edges. The book is fine, with no fading, a tight spine, and minimal edge wear. Previous owner name and "1965" written on front paste-down.Auction Info
