Montague Summers - "The Vampire His Kith and Kin," First Edition (Kegan, Paul, Trench, Trubner, and Co., 1928). This is the classic text on the subject of vampirism, the first of several books on the subject written by Montague Summers. Written in the days before the Hollywood vampire, the text has been described by reviewers as having a similar tone to "an Audubon Society field guide." There is some light foxing throughout the book and a one-inch tear at the bottom of the dust jacket spine; otherwise a Good condition copy of the book in a Very Good condition dust jacket.
