Frontispiece and 48 additional inserted plates. Publisher's full blue cloth, spine and front stamped in black and gilt, rear stamped in blind; all edges trimmed. Spine slightly skewed; backstrip dulled a shade, spine ends pushed and worn; light rubbing to boards with some pale spots of soiling at rear; board edges a bit worn and discolored; corners bumped with boards peeking through cloth. Text block edges browned and spot-soiled; endpapers foxed with previous owner book label at front pastedown; occasional marginal foxing or spot-soiling scattered throughout.
