Publisher's full brown cloth, spine lettered in gilt; all edges trimmed, top edge stained red; original illustrated dust jacket. Bottom end of spine pushed and a bit discolored; soft bump to bottom edge of front board. Brown speckle-soiling scattered across top edge of text block; couple of small stains at bottom of fore-edge; small bump to bottom corner of text block visible at majority of page corners. Light wear at spine ends; mild rubbing to exposed panels; minor wear and soft creasing at flap folds; top edges of flaps just a touch rumpled; flaps clipped.
