Publisher's full tan cloth, spine lettered in orange; all edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine ends a bit softened; virtually no shelf wear to binding; slight bumping to upper corners. Normal mild age dulling to edges of text block; top edge faintly dust-soiled. Barely perceptible uneven toning at endpapers; previous owner signature to front free endpaper. Slight edge wear to jacket, most pronounced at spine and flap fold ends, with minimal paper loss; mild rubbing and toning to exposed panels; light wear to joints and flap folds; single short tear at top of front joint; flaps clipped. Light uneven toning to verso of jacket; tiny tidemark at base of spine panel. Near fine, with a clean, bright interior. First edition of Asimov's first book.
