    Description

H.G. Wells The Plattner Story First Edition (Methuen & Co., 1897). A first edition of one of Wells' more uncommon books. This science-fiction and fantasy collection is cased in red cloth, with the front and spine panels stamped in gold. All edges of the octavo are untrimmed. The lower front corner tip is bruised, and the spine panel is age-darkened. A still bright, tight, and Very Good copy, with a clean interior. A tough book to find in nice condition.
