Frontispiece and eleven additional inserted plates on coated paper. Publisher's full navy blue cloth, spine and front stamped in gilt; all text block edges trimmed.Mild lean to spine; spine ends slightly pushed and worn with foot just starting to fray; trace of wear to joints; touch of rubbing and soiling to boards, mostly visible exclusively in raking light; minor shelf wear along bottom edges; corners bumped with boards just starting to peek through cloth. Text block edges dulled from age; a few gatherings toward middle of text block slightly sprung but still sound; top edge of text block slightly dust-soiled; rubbing to bottom corner; rear hinge fully split between endpaper and flyleaf, front hinge partially split, both still sound; evidence of dog-earing scattered occasionally throughout interior.
