Inscribed by Pohl at front free endpaper: "For Clay Kimball / With all good / wishes / F Pohl." Octavo. [4], 171, [1] pages. Publisher's full brown cloth, spine lettered in purple; all edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Very slight skew to spine; slight wear to cloth at spine ends and corners; a couple of soft taps to top edge of front board; barely perceptible shelf wear along bottom edges. Browning of text block due to poor paper stock; uneven mild browning to endpapers; previous owner signature at front pastedown. Tiny nick at head of jacket spine panel; soft creasing at joints; general, fairly light toning and rubbing at exposed panels; tiny tear at head of rear panel; soft creasing along flap folds with some very slight paper loss at ends; price-clipped. Spine panel mildly rippled; single small spot of foxing at verso of rear panel. Near fine. Currey, p. 404. From the Glynn and Suzanne Crain Collection.
