    More Information: Ray Bradbury. Dark Carnival. London: Hamish Hamilton, 1948. First British edition. Inscribed to the collector: "Glynn / This British / edition / Ray Bradbury / Nov. 1st / 2001." Octavo. 271, [1] pages. Publisher's full green cloth, spine lettered in silver; all edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Spine slightly skewed; spine ends a bit pushed; minimal shelf wear to binding; corners and edges bumped. Normal faint age toning to edges and interior of text block; remains at one corner of paper label on front free endpaper; otherwise clean and bright. A bit of edge wear and rumpling to jacket, with a tiny amount of fraying just starting at spine and flap fold ends; two very short tears at bottom of front panel; small hole toward middle of front joint; general light rubbing and soiling to exposed panels. Bit of mild discoloration to verso. Near fine. Currey, p. 55. From the Glynn and Suzanne Crain Collection.
