    More Information: Edgar Rice Burroughs. The Outlaw of Torn. Chicago: A.C. McClurg & Co, 1927. First edition. Octavo. [6], 298 pages. Publisher's full red cloth, front and spine lettered in gilt; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. A few spots of soiling at spine, lettering darkened, spine ends pushed and a bit worn; touch of light rubbing and soiling to boards; trace of wear to bottom edges with a small spot of cloth loss; top edges discolored with a soft tap or two. Expected age yellowing to edges and interior of text block; minor surface abrasions to edges, with some specks of red staining at bottom; discoloration to endpapers, including browning from binder's glue; previous ownership label partially removed from front free endpaper; spine split between pages 186 and 187, but still sound. Restored jacket, with spine ends and rear joint renewed and color-corrected; a touch of rubbing to exposed panels with a nick or two at edges repaired and some restoration to front and rear panels, visible mostly at verso; flap folds renenwed; some faint specks of foxing; two tiny tears from top edge of front flap, further repairs to flap visible at verso. Verso liglhtly foxed with some thumbsoiling and discoloration from fairly extensive repairs. Very good. Zeuschner, p. 229. From the Glynn and Suzanne Crain Collection.
