Publisher's full blue cloth, front and spine lettered in black; all edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jacket. Fairly mild edge and joint wear to binding; backstrip faded; spine ends pushed; a bit of faint discoloration and light rubbing to boards; corners just a bit bumped. Edges and interior of text block lightly browned from age; some areas of very faint soiling. Leaf with pages 147-148 rumpled toward gutter, upper corner creased and discolored; a touch of rubbing at margins of a few final leaves. Jacket very lightly worn at spine and flap fold ends; some soft creasing at folds; tiny split starting at head of front flap fold; tape over three tears at bottom of rear panel, with one smaller piece at rear flap; pair of vertical creases at rear flap. Tape repairs at edges of verso, mildly yellowed. Very good book. Currey, p. 88; Zeuschner (2016), p. 85.
