    Description

Edgar Rice Burroughs - Tarzan the Terrible (Methuen, 1918-20). The British editions of Tarzan's books published by Methuen have the distinction of having new dust jacket art. This example's dust jacket, and the book itself, both grade Very Good+. The red cloth cover has the title and author's name stamped in black with a double line rectangle surrounding the border. These Methuen editions tend to be harder to find than the A. L. Burt or Grosset & Dunlap editions, and this attractive example may inspire some spirited bidding.
