Frontispiece and four additional inserted plates, full-page illustrations, all by J. Allen St. John. Publisher's pale orange cloth, spine and front lettered in black; all text bock edges trimmed; facsimile dust jacket. Spine faintly discolored; spine ends pushed and slightly worn; light wear along joints; boards a bit rubbed and soiled; minor wear along bottom edges of boards; corners softly bumped. Faint discoloration to endpapers; bookseller's ticket at rear pastedown. Gutter split between front free endpaper and half-title, but still sound; text block slightly yellowed with age; evidence of dog-earing scattered throughout interior; small bumps to upper corners.
