Frontispiece and four additional inserted plates on coated paper by J. Allen St. John; decorative map endpapers. Publisher's full blue cloth, front and spine lettered in red; all edges trimmed, top edge stained red; original illustrated dust jacket. Minor shelf wear at extremities of binding; spine ends pushed and just about to fray. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; top edge slightly dusty. Virtually no edge wear to jacket; very light rubbing; some soft creasing near joints and flap folds. Very nearly fine. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block. Virtually no edge wear or rubbing to jacket. Small amount of rubbing and discoloration at verso. Essentially fine. Publisher's full blue cloth, front and spine lettered in red; top edge trimmed and stained red, others untrimmed; original illustrated jacket, laminated. Mild shelf wear at extremities of binding; spine ends a bit softened; rear board slightly soiled. Normal age toning to edges and interior of text block; top edge a bit dusty. Some very faint foxing at endpapers. Jacket a little bowed when removed from book, but otherwise pristine. Virtually fine.
