Octavo. 221, [3, blank] pages. Publisher's one-quarter black paper over blue paper-covered boards, spine lettered in silver and metallic blue; all text block edges trimmed; black and blue pictorial endpapers; original pictorial dust jacket. Just a touch of wear at bottom end of spine; minor discoloration at top and bottom edges of boards; small speck of soiling to front board. Light tanning and a bit of mild soiling to edges of text block; small amount of faint, marginal foxing scattered occasionally throughout interior at margins. Light, uneven yellowing to jacket; exposed panels just a touch rubbed; just a bit of wear at flap fold ends; top ends of flaps slightly rumpled. Single speck of soiling at verso. Near fine. Novelization of the treatment that would also become Stanley Kubrick's 1968 film of the same name.
