Zoom and Bored Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote Limited Edition Cel Signed by Chuck Jones 220/250 (Warner Bros, 1997). Here is a terrific limited edition cel inspired by the Chuck Jones-directed short, Zoom and Bored. In the short the Coyote and Road Runner begin to chase, freezing momentarily for the credits and Latin names to be shown: COYOTE: Famishus Vulgaris and ROAD RUNNER: Birdibus Zippibus. After being dragged over cactus, under rocks, smashing through a truck, having a bomb explode in his face and falling off of a cliff, ragged and exhausted while gasping for air the Road Runner pulls up directly behind the Coyote, but instead of beeping, the bird shows a soft side by holding up a sign saying: "I just don't have the heart." This wonderful image was hand-painted on acetate of 17" x 14" and paired with a background copy/print featuring sketches by Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). The piece is numbered 220/250 and hand-signed by the artist. Enclosed in a frame of 23.5" x 21" with a matboard aperture of 15.5" x 13". Frame sold as-is. Included is a certificate of authenticity issued by Linda Jones Enterprises. Artwork condition is Very Good.
