Woofer and Whimper Main Title Card/Production Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1976). Title cards are arguably rare and can be hard to find. Here's a rare one from Hanna-Barbera's 1976 series Woofer and Whimper. Originally Woofer and Whimper were part of the CBS series Clue Club. It was similar in premise to Scooby-Doo, but featured two dogs: the bloodhound Woofer and the basset hound Whimper. Edited reruns were shown as part of The Three Robonic Stooges under the title Woofer and Whimper: Dog Detectives. Title cards also known as a title sequence for a television series have routinely played a central role in establishing the show's identity. Repeated at the beginning of every new and rebroadcast episode, usually with limited changes over the course of the series' run, they can become highly memorable. This is a great looking title card. Overall condition is Very Good.
