Woody Woodpecker Scolds Andy Panda Signed Limited Edition Cel #186/200 (Walter Lantz, c. 1990s). Taken from his first appearance in the 1940 short Knock Knock, Woody Woodpecker has never looked more colorful! This is a hand-inked, hand-painted cel created from original Walter Lantz art for this Andy Panda short. This is a great image of the first generation of Woody, with his green eyes, thick yellow legs, and red and blue body. He was redesigned by Lantz before his second appearance. The pair look very cute on this great lithograph print background that perfectly recreates the original. Sheepish little Andy, hiding his salt shaker, stands 4.5" tall, and cross-eyed Woody is 5" tall. The cel has a studio seal on it, and is hand-signed and numbered by Walter Lantz in the bottom left. The 14" x 11" image area is housed in a 21.5" x 17.5" glass front frame. In Fine condition. The COA is on the backside.
