Description

Woody Woodpecker and Buzz Buzzard Presentation Cel with Walter Lantz Signature (Walter Lantz, c. 1950s). A rare hand-inked, hand-painted cel of Woody and Buzz, as they appeared in the 1954 short, Alley to Bali. The poses are from two separate scenes, but work very well together. The image sizes are 3" and 5.25". The cel is stapled to a piece of brown paper, hand-signed and inscribed on the lower left, with a Walter Lantz copyright stamp in the lower right. The cels have some scuffs with missing ink on Buzz, with several cracks appearing in the white paint of both character's sailor suits, and flaking of black in one of Buzz's shoes. Good condition.
