    Description

Woody Woodpecker Ace In The Hole Animation Model Sheet Original Art (Walter Lantz Studios, 1942). The original art used to create the studio model sheets for this feature. Woody Woodpecker and the Sarge were the two main characters for Woody's fifth cartoon, which was released on 6-22-42. The World War II era animated short was production #1014. Some erasure of the penciled title reveals that at some point the original title for this was "America's Ace In The Hole". Five images in graphite, two of Sarge, two of Woody, and one showing Woody's body construction. They are on separate pieces of paper that have been affixed to a larger sheet with tape and glue. There is slight discoloration and some glue residue in places. In Very Good condition.
