Description

Woodland Café Silly Symphony Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney, 1937). An insect jazz musician plays some melodies on a saxophone made of flowers in this 1937 Silly Symphony. This short features a whole band of musical bugs as they play some tunes and dance the night away! This great sequence of 3 original animation drawings showcases the tiny musician as he stands with his instrument, a scene that can be found at about the 6:18 mark of the short. The images are created with graphite and red and green pencil on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper. One of the drawings also has extensive Ink and Paint notes! The drawings are marked in their lower right corners with 3, 18, and 47. These pieces are in Very Good condition, with minor handling, edge wear, and age-related paper toning.
