    Description

Wonderful World of Color "The Mickey Mouse Anniversary Show" Old and New Mickey Mouse Sequence of 3 Production Cel Setups (Walt Disney, 1968). "Are you the first Mickey Mouse?" This 1968 questioning of the 1928 Mickey by the 1968 Mickey was first seen on Mickey's 40th Birthday TV special, shown as an episode of Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, which aired on 12/22/68. Here are three great hand-painted production setups featuring this odd "Worlds Colliding" cels with both Mickeys. The image size ranges from 4" to 5.5", with most as 4.5". Each setup is matted with openings of 13.5" x 10.5", and overall mat sizes of 20" x 16". What a wonderful way to bridge the years from 1928's Steamboat Willy to this "modern day" 1968 television program! A couple of the Modern Mickeys have tiny areas of paint separation and cracks, but nothing too distractive. Very Good overall condition. Squeek!
