    Wonderful World of Color "The Mickey Mouse 40th Anniversary Show" Mickey and Minnie Production Cels Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1968). Mickey and Minnie cut a rug and kiss in these three delightful hand-painted production cels from a special television episode. Ward Kimball co-directed this Mickey Mouse birthday celebration show from the Wonderful World of Color episode that premiered on 12/22/68. It was the 11th show in Season 15. This was one of the last major Mickey Mouse roles for voice artist Jimmy MacDonald before he retired and Wayne Alllwine, his assistant, took over. Each rare cel is separately matted, with opening sizes of 11.5" x 7.5", and overall mat sizes of 16" x 12". Figure sizes range from 3.25" to 4.5". Fine condition.
