DescriptionWonderful World of Color "The Mickey Mouse 40th Anniversary Show" Mickey and Minnie Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1968). A 1930s-style "pie-eyed" Mickey plays a happy tune for Minnie, in this exceptionally nice hand-painted held cel. There were quite a few early Mickey Mouse shorts with scenes at the piano like this. Ward Kimball co-directed this gala Mickey Mouse birthday celebration from the Wonderful World of Color episode that was first shown on 12/22/68, as the 11th show in Season 15. This was one of the last major Mickey Mouse roles for voice artist Jimmy MacDonald before he retired and his assistant Wayne Alllwine took over. This colorful classic image of Mickey and Minnie is matted with an opening of 10" x 8", and a mat size of 14" x 12". You can't go wrong here, Mousekafans! In Fine condition.
