Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too Rabbit Production Cel on Key Master Production Background (Walt Disney, 1974). "Tigger's getting too bouncy nowadays and it's time we taught him a lesson!" says Rabbit to Pooh and Piglet in this scene from the 1974 Winnie the Pooh featurette which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film that year. It was later added as a segment to the 1977 film The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. This is an original hand-painted image of Rabbit who plays a pivotal role in this film. He measures 4" x 4" on a 16 field production cel over the original Key Master Background from this scene . It is painted in gouache on 3-peghole board with the production number 2518 on the bottom border. In an effort to match the style of illustration in the original A. A. Milne books, backgrounds in this film also include a black line cel overlay. This is a one-of-a-kind work of production art from one of Disney's most successful franchises. The art is in a 21" x 17" mat with a 15" x 11" opening. The piece shows minor handling wear. Very Good condition.
