    Description

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too Pooh, Rabbit, Piglet, and Tigger Production Cel on Key Master Production Background (Walt Disney, 1974). "Halloo!" hollers Tigger as he searches for his friends in this scene from the 1974 Winnie the Pooh featurette. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film that year and later added as a segment to the 1977 film The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. This is an original hand-painted production cel of Pooh, Rabbit, and Piglet hiding from Tigger. The laminated 16 field production cel bears a Disney seal in the lower right corner and is over its original hand-painted Key Master production background. It is painted in gouache on 3-peghole board with the production number 2518 on the bottom border and an OK initialed by J. H. (layout artist Joe Hale). In an effort to match the style of illustration in the original A. A. Milne books, backgrounds in this film also include a black line cel overlay. This is a one-of-a-kind work of production art from one of Disney's most successful franchises. The background is mounted to an 18" x 15" piece of illustration board and a 1" square piece of the cel has been cut out of the bottom right edge nowhere near the art; otherwise condition is Very Good.
