DescriptionWinnie the Pooh and Others Studio Model Sheet Prints Group of 8 (Walt Disney, c. 1960s-70s). Winnie the Pooh, Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, and some Milt Kahl hands are featured in this set of eight Disney Studio-used model sheets. Four are from Pooh films. There is one from Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree (1966), featuring 12 small images of Pooh Bear, seven of Rabbit, and one with both on a 14" x 11" sheet. Multiple nightmare images of Heffalumps and Woozles are on a 14" x 11" sheet made for Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day (1968). There are two 16 field 3-peghole prints noted as for Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too (1974), reusing images from the 1966 first entry; each has eight large, full-figure images of Pooh. Mary Poppins (1964) and Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971) are each represented by a 14" x 11" photo paper print; chickens and geese are on the first, while the second features Fisherman Bear, King Leonidas, and Secretary Bird with a photo image of Professor Browne for size comparison. Finally, we have two 16 field prints of hands, as drawn by one of "Walt's Nine Old Men," Milt Kahl (1909 – 1987); no individual film is listed. Model sheets are an important part of the animation process, and seldom do they leave the studio grounds. Condition averages Very Good with minor handling and wear.
