Description

Winnie the Pooh and Eeyore Winnie and Friends Production Cel Setup with Key Master Background (Walt Disney, 1980s/90s). The game of Poohsticks, dropping sticks off one side of a bridge to see whose comes out the other side first, was first mentioned in A. A. Mile's book The House at Pooh Corner. Disney included it in the animated film Winnie the Pooh and a Day For Eeyore, and to date, a Poohsticks Championship has been held every year since 1984 at Day's Lock on the River Thames in the UK. This outstanding production cel, with hand-painted Key Master background, is a nice-character setup featuring Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga and Roo, Eeyore, Rabbit, Tigger, and Christopher Robin. It was created for a Winnie the Pooh book. This is one of the best pure Poohsticks pieces we have ever seen. The images are 2" to 3" each, beautifully framed to 17.25" x 15" with linen mat and gold filet. Fine condition.
