Description
Wile E. Coyote "Coyote Painter" Limited Edition Cel Artist's Proof #21/25 (Warner Brothers, 1982). Chuck Jones began doing drawings to be made into Limited Edition cels simply because all the vintage Warner Brothers housed production cels were thrown out in the early 1960s, based on an accountant's decision. This is a very early hand-painted Chuck Jones limited edition cel created from his original drawing called "Road Runner Under Glass/Coyote Painter." The original edition was only 100 pieces and sold out over 30 years ago; this is an extremely rare Artist's Proof Edition. The cel is framed with Plexiglas, with a mat opening of 12" x 15". Wile E. is a striking 10" tall. The cel has a Linda Jones seal and is hand-signed by Chuck Jones (1912-2000). A Linda Jones COA is on the back of the frame. Great colors! Fine condition.Auction Info
