Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner Painting Original Art by Chuck Jones (Warner Brothers, c. 1980s-90s). In Chuck Jones' book Chuck Amuck, he writes that he had nine rules to follow for his Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote cartoons. One unspoken rule not on this list is that the Road Runner is never to be caught by Wile E. Almost 50 shorts have been made with these characters, with Jones doing the most of any one director. His first short was in 1949, and the last in 1994. This is an outstanding one-of-a-kind watercolor painting of Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner from the hand of animation legend (and the creator of these characters), Mr. Chuck Jones. It looks like Wile E. is just about to catch the elusive Road Runner. The word "turnabout?" is on the painting. Great images and facial expressions, with nice 7" images. The painting is hand-signed by Chuck Jones. A Linda Jones COA is with the painting. Chuck Jones original watercolor paintings are quickly becoming scarce! Matted, with an opening of 15" x 12"; framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 27" x 22". Frame is sold as-is; artwork condition is Very Good.
