Wild About Anchorage Ad Production Cel (Kurtz, 1981). Rockettes, eat you hearts out! (We bet they've never seen a kick line like this!) A bighorn sheep, a moose, a grizzly, a puma, and a timber wolf are all singing and dancing to tell you about all the attractions Anchorage has to offer. This CLIO award-winning spot promoting tourism was a take off on the (then recent) hit, A Chorus Line -- and the commercial jingle "Wild About Anchorage" was even set to the tune of "One"! Combined image area of all five animals on 12 field production cel measures 10" x 6.5". Cel is hand-inked and hand-painted, and there is a separate overlay cel with the transparent wash shading effect characteristic of the house look for the Kurtz studio.
