    Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Jessica Rabbit Production Cel (Disney/Touchstone/Amblin, 1988). "You let other women make a fool of you. Why don't ya do right" sings Jessica Rabbit in her nightclub act as Eddie Valiant watches her for the first time. Here is a superb image from this iconic scene at the Ink and Paint Club in the 1988 live action/animated feature film, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. You will see this scene around then 18:24 time mark. The film brought a re-emerging interest in the golden age of American animation and became the forefront of the modern animation era. In 2016, Who Framed Roger Rabbit was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." This piece was initially sold at a New York auction on 6/28/89 as lot number 259. The cel from this critically acclaimed film was hand-painted on 16 field acetate and paired with a background color copy for presentation purposes. Housed in a frame of 24" x 19" with a special embossed event logo affixed to the matboard. The matboard aperture is 15" x 9.5". Frame sold as-is. The cel has some ink loss on Jessica's image. Cel condition is Good.
